About the venue

Dock 11

The factory level of Dock 11 in Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg is a rehearsals room, teaching studio and dance stage in one. The stage programme has interdisciplinary supplements such as theatre, performance, literature, music, visual art, film and club art – however the main focal point of every performance is on purely dance elements. Together with its other premises in EDEN***** in Berlin-Pankow, Dock 11 has established itself as an important part of the Berlin dance scene. The unique combination of teaching, rehearsal and stage generates an exciting change of perspectives in both the artists and pupils, as well as among the audience.  (source:

About the performance

Analogue - body, vibration and plus alpha

Analogue: one of a group of chemical (organic) compounds similar in structure but different in respect to elemental composition (of sounds).

"Analogue - body, vibration and plus alpha" is a combination of performance, music and dance. Sensitive balance of four-body, shifting weight, deformation of sound. These analogous connections create a stereophonic physical space.

About the Artists

Yoko Kaseki and Co

Yuko Kaseki (Japan/Germany): Her works are accumulations of poetic and vivid images that incorporate spirit of Butoh. Performances of her aim to reflect the outsider’s existence. Her strong interests in breaking borders of physical expression led and lead to many collaboration with mix-abled artists.

Sung Kuk Kang (Korea) is the only disabled artist to perform as a performer and dancer in Korea since 2005. Sung Kuk Kang wants to learn a lot from his activities and projects outside his country, and to expand his career internationally. Then to contribute to the cultural landscape of Korea, which is very weak in the art of people with disabilities.

Roland Walter (Germany): He experimentalizes with his body and his handicap and shows that people with a fate like his can have a creative life, too. In his performances we can watch this discovery which is a fight against the handicap and for a creative life over and over. Since 2010, Roland Walter works as a performer, dancer, choreographer.

Emilio Gordoa Rodriguez (Mexico/ Germany): He is redefining the vibraphone as a source, treating it with preparations and  extended techniques, and is a busy composer as well, writing graphic scores for a variety of ensembles, large and small, for theater, documentary films and
