Short Dance Workshop Before and Artist Talk After Experimental Woman #1: Poliana Lima
Brazilian dancer Poliana Lima explores femininity with this experiment #1. Before seeing the performance, you are invited to encounter her work up close and personal during a short, sensitive workshop imagined by Acker Stadt Palast Artistic Director Anete Colacioppo (free entrance!). And after the performance, you can meet her personally for a short talk moderated by German dancer Anna Axmann.
Before the show begins, you are invited to take part in a short workshop developed specially for this show: you will spend 50 minutes getting to know the themes of the piece and its construction, working specifically, with the help of easy physical exercises, on models of the feminine ideal and the mechanism of shame. Participation is free! You must register in advance by sending an email to anmeldung@theaterscoutings.de. After the performance, Poliana Lima will participate in a discussion about her experiment with femininity, moderated by young German dancer Anna Axmann who will relate to the performance with her own experience. Questions are welcome!

The venue, which opened in 2012 in Schokoladen in Mitte, focuses on offering new types of connections between contemporary dance and contemporary music. Acker Stadt Palast is also curious about various aesthetic forms of dance and theater.

Poliana Lima
Poliana Lima is a Brazilian dancer and choreographer based in Madrid, SP. At the moment was invited to Performing Gender project, continues with the investigation of Experimental Woman #1 and presenting her piece with Ugne Divaityte, Flesh at the international level.
