Constanza Macras presents a performance series in collaboration with her ensemble DorkyPark and guests. The programme reflects on the future of Berlin free scene engaging local and international artists.

At the heart of the programme is the research on the collaboration practices, insights to the creative process and artistic exchange with local and international artists in Berlin. Constanza Macras gets in dialogue with her performers, shares insights into creative process with the audience and reflects on the future of the free artistic expression in Berlin.

VERLIN is the daily workspace of the company Constanza Macras | DorkyPark and an event venue located in central Berlin that can be rented for different purposes: dance/theater/music rehearsals, workshops, performances, exhibitions, photo shootings, film screenings, TV productions, parties, etc.
About the programme
SUPER LOCAL BERLIN
Super Local Berlin is a new programme by Constanza Macras | DorkyPark funded by a three-year conceptual grant from the Fonds Darstellende Künste e.V. within the framework of I AM WITH YOU series, made possible by the Federal Cultural Foundation. It is a small format series by Constanza Macras in collaboration with her ensemble DorkyPark and guest. At the heart of the programme is the research on the collaboration practices, insights to the creative process and artistic exchange with local and international artists in Berlin.
About the company
DORKYPARK
DORKYPARK was formed in 2003 by Constanza Macras and dramaturge Carmen Mehnert and since then it has been led by Constanza Macras. The company integrates dancers, actors and musicians with performers that range from 4 to 72 years old and its productions combine text, live music, dance and video.The company has been touring extensively across the world, being invited to festivals such as the Festival d’Avignon in France, the Wiener Festwochen in Austria, the Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) in Korea; the Buenos Aires International Festival (FIBA) in Argentina, Attakalari – India Biennial in India, among many others. In Germany the company works regularly with HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts in Dresden and with Berlin based venues such as the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, HAU – Hebbel am Ufer, among others.
