Our Hands is an autobiographical one-man show that explores the miraculous and disastrous consequences of the choices we have a hand in making. After the show the audiences are invited to share their thoughts and impressions about the piece with actor and director Eman Jones.

About the venue
Im ehemaligen Ballsaal „Köpenicker Hof“ befindet sich das theaterforum kreuzberg. Neben den hauseigenen Inszenierungen finden Gastspiele von Theater- und Tanzensembles aus Berlin und dem In- und Ausland statt. Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Anemone Poland hat das theaterforum kreuzberg in den letzten Jahren Autoren der klassischen Moderne inszeniert, häufig als Deutsche oder Berliner Erstaufführung. So u.a. Stücke von Jean Tardieu, Michel de Ghelderode, Eugène Ionesco, Diderot/Enzensberger, Roger Vitrac, Georges Schehadé und als Uraufführung ein Drama des Malers Max Beckmann. Mit dieser Auswahl an weitgehend unbekannten Meisterwerken hat sich das tfk eine kleine Marktnische in der Berliner Theaterlandschaft erspielt.

Our Hands is an autobiographical one-man show that explores the miraculous and disastrous consequences of the choices we have a hand in making.
About the artist
ERMAN IS A DIRECTOR, ACTOR, & PLAYWRIGHT In 2011 he graduated with an MFA from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan USA. In 2010 he attended the Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT). He is a winner of the Louise Heck-Rabi playwriting competition in Detroit where his play, "All Kinds of Men" was produced. Erman has directed Tim Kelly's M*A*S*H, Larry Shue's The Foreigner, and in 2016 he directed Mary Kelly in Two for a Girl at the English Theatre Berlin. In 2014 he wrote, directed and produced the short film Second Star. As an actor Erman has played a variety of roles including Lenny in Of Mice and Men, Chief Bromden in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Cleante in Tartuffe.
