Audience Talk following 'Swallow me'

'swallow me,' is a physical theatre choreography exploring nature’s resilience in relation to human’s resilience at Hošek Contemporary. The following audience talk proposes to share perceptions and discuss aspects of resillience among other topics of the performance.

As nature destructs to reconstruct, humans can deconstruct preconceived stories/ trauma in the body and rewrite them with empowering narratives. Through the act of allowing the stories of the body to swallow us like the waves in the sea, we release what we no longer need from the narratives, hold onto the power, and rise resiliently wild. The audience talk will focus on differnet aspects of resilliance, tools and possibilities that humans have and also the ability to foresee when to let go. The dancer and choreographer Josephine Haas will be present at the audience talk.
