Audience Talk following 'INVENTAIRE'

INVENTAIRE is a dance performance and video -sound installation and deals, with Living in Exil. After the performance the audience is invited to reflect on their own experiences, questions and impressions after the show with the artistes.

The audience talk following the performance invites not only to ask all the questions that might occur during the show but also to reflect together with the fellow audience members on their own perception and images that came up while watching the performers on stage. With questions like "How do one approach/get closer? What kind of initiative or arrangements (one have/one has) to do for a Coming out? What kind of steps (to do) towards the other culture? How can we laugh and cry together? How does one manage to open and give one’s heart?" the project connects every small history with the big one, crossing borders while focusing on the main question for our society today: how would we live together tomorrow?

Uferstudios (Studio 1)

Since 2010, Uferstudios has offered choreographers, dancers and other artists the space for professional work in an inspiring environment that is welcoming and fosters openness and participation.
The idea behind the Uferstudios model is the synergetic combination of artistic production, education and information - the different uses are combined to form an exciting prism. A wide range of artists hone their crafts here, including those who temporarily rent studios for rehearsals or events, students and lecturers from the Hochschulübergreifenden Zentrum Tanz Berlin, artists and employees of the Tanzfabrik Berlin, the ada studio and Tanzbüro Berlin. This is a venue where one can practice, research, work and study, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Open formats strengthen the connection to the neighborhood and the respective partners offer regular events.

About the performance

INVENTAIRE

The project INVENTAIRE build artistic sets and open spaces, to show curent European contexts of migration from and with people directly involved or interested by. With questions like« How do one approach/get closer? What kind of initiative or arrangements (one have) to do for a coming out? What kind of steps (to do) towards the other cultures? How do one laugh and cry together? How do one (to) open and give ones heart? » the project connecte every small history into the big one, crossing border while focusing on the main question of our society : how will we live together tomorrow? 

About the artists collective

COLLECTIF K-LI-P

The choreographer Christel Brink-Przygodda is educated in classical and contemporary dance (Cunningham Technic) in Hamburg, Amsterdam and Grenoble she started to work especially with Annie Delichère, Cathy Cambet, Ana Texido, Ruth Meyer (intercultural project Europe, Israell). In 1990, she joined the Company 47•49 François Veyrunes in Grenoble and have been working ever since in this structure as choreographic artist, assistant, dramatist and co-choreographer. In 2007 she created the COLLECTIF K-LI-P with the visual artist Phil Veyrunes and center her research into performance and installation work around the subject of our Identity.
Since 2016 her project EGODOCUMENT is running in France and Germany with people coming out of the migration crisis.
