Artist Talk following 'This is Mine. What's Yours?'
A site specific based performance for one audience member at a time. You are invited to share an intimate moment with a gorilla. The audience members receive a special bonus – an artist talk following the performance.

Theatre Scoutings Special: On Monday 25th July the audiences will receive a short introduction to the artistic work of Lauren Hart and her site-specific performance 'This is Mine. What's Yours?'. The guests, who already participated in the performance, get the opportunity to ask questions and to share their thoughts and impressions.

Each performance lasts 30 minutes is for one person at a time. You are welcome to turn up for your chosen time slot and leave when you are ready.

About the Venue:
Theaterhaus Mitte
Theaterhaus Mitte is located in the heart of Berlin and offers performance spaces, rehearsal rooms, stages and technical support to many independent projects. The building, once a former primary school of the DDR era, is now fully functioning as a space for singers, actors and performers working in the independent performing arts scene.
About the performance:
'This is Mine. What's Yours?‘
You are invited to share an intimate moment with a gorilla. Communication will be through a series of written notes. The gorilla will share his biggest fear and ask for your help. You will then be given the opportunity to share yours. You can share as much or as little as you choose. Feel free to communicate by talking or via written notes. There may be sharing of secrets you have kept hidden for years. Go on dare yourself to reveal more than you planned. If not now, then when?
About the Artist:
Lauren Hart
Lauren Hart was born in Sheffield, England in 1985. Since graduating Central School of Speech and Drama School in London she has worked professionally in the independent theatre scene around Europe performing her own work and collaborating with other artists. She moved to Berlin in 2015 and works as a Freelance Theatre Maker and Performer. She has collaborated with Fang Lu in the art video project "Ex-Lovers" and was commissioned by Wrought-Sheffield (Performance Festival, England) to create a new intercultural piece. I am not (t)here anymore which uses Skype technology to connect England and Germany.
