Brief Introduction to the Expat Expo | Immigrant Invasion Festival
The EXPAT EXPO is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get a glimpse into Berlin's dizzying artistic diversity. On the first evening of the festival, the festival's curator Daniel Brunet will give you an introduction to the festival and Berlin's international performing arts center before the shows begin.
Before the evening performances begin, Daniel Brunet, Producing Artistic Director of English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center and curator of the Expat Expo festival, will introduce you to the theater and the beautiful courtyard F40 of Fidicinstraße 40 that the theater shares with Theatre Thikwa. Over the course of this, he will share with you the artistic concept behind Berlin's only international performing arts center with a working language of English and speak more specifically about the Expat Expo.
You can now reserve tickets (9/15€) including free admission to the introduction directly through Theater Scoutings! (up to 1 day before the performance)
Just send an email with the desired number of tickets to reservierung(at)theaterscoutings-berlin.de.

About the Venue:
English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center
English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center is the German capital’s only producing and presenting organization in the Hauptstadt expressly dedicated to English, the 21st century lingua franca, as the working language. Our year-round programming comprises the Producing Series – Made in Berlin, the Presenting Series, as well as our Performing Series and Pedagogy Series. We are a proud member of Berlin’s freie Szene, the independent performing arts community, and are currently developing platforms to share our work within Germany and abroad. We consciously use theater and performance as living, discursive forms to bring artists and audiences into conversation with each other about our shared city and the greater world we live in.
About the Festival:
Expat Expo | Immigrant Invasion Festival
English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center puts its Miete where its mouth is with this festival featuring our most important resource – the community of international immigrant artists and the English-language Freie Szene.Over six evenings, the Expo features a curated selection of two performances per evening on our stage (in every genre imaginable) and on Sunday, June 5, we invite you to ExpLoRE, a new format for newcomers, shorter performances and work-in-progress taking place throughout our entire facility, from our stage to our dressing rooms to our breathtaking courtyard.
