Dialogue following 'I am with you'
'I am with you' explores interpersonal relationships and exists of new formats of solos, duos and trios which mash up with sequences of existing creations in an hour long performance. Constanza Macras gets in dialogue with her performers and shows the diary of a creative process.

Proposing a new performative format, this new production offers a one-of-a-kind insight into the very process of creation and an intimate overview over the amazing number of unalike Macras´s creations. Constanza Macras gets in dialogue with her performers and shows the diary of a creative process. Following the topic of reconstruction, fragmentation of the menonic process the dancers will transit how the materials come about and what it does to performe them.

STUDIO 44 is the daily workspace of the company Constanza Macras | DorkyPark and an event venue located in central Berlin that can be rented for different purposes: dance/theater/music rehearsals, workshops, performances, exhibitions, photo shootings, film screenings, TV productions, parties, etc.

I am with you
I AM WITH YOU is an initiative by Constanza Macras | DorkyPark funded by a three-year conceptual grant from the Fonds Darstellende Künste e.V., made possible by the Federal Cultural Foundation. It is a format series by Constanza Macras in collaboration with her ensemble DorkyPark and guests. The performance explores interpersonal relationships and exists of new formats of solos, duos and trios which mash up with sequences of existing creations in an hour long performance.
About the company
DORKYPARK
DORKYPARK was formed in 2003 by Constanza Macras and dramaturge Carmen Mehnert and since then it has been led by Constanza Macras. The company integrates dancers, actors and musicians with performers that range from 4 to 72 years old and its productions combine text, live music, dance and video.The company has been touring extensively across the world, being invited to festivals such as the Festival d’Avignon in France, the Wiener Festwochen in Austria, the Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) in Korea; the Buenos Aires International Festival (FIBA) in Argentina, Attakalari – India Biennial in India, among many others. In Germany the company works regularly with HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts in Dresden and with Berlin based venues such as the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, HAU – Hebbel am Ufer, among others.
