Post-Performance Discussion in English: 'Tortured Mind'
How can you tell the story of a strange psychiatrist with acrobatics? The possibilities of contemporary circus can be discussed after the show with the performers.

After the show, take the opportunity to discuss the performance with the cast – among others, Faon Shane, a former member of Cirque du Soleil and Les 7 doigts de la main, and Alessandro Di Sazio, World Champion of Hip Hop and Breakdance in 2003.

Theater Aufbau Haus
An extraordinary synergy between contemporary artistic and creative industries, the Aufbau Haus on Berlin's Moritzplatz in Kreuzberg is an innovative new presence on the city's cultural landscape. Following a two-year construction phase, the publisher's group Aufbau Verlag took up residence on the upper two floors of the renewed building. Modulor occupy the other four floors. The roughly 17.500 square meters of the Aufbau Haus house the TAK, (Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg), the Buchhandlung Moritzplatz, the publisher Blumenbar and Prince Charles Club, the M1 Café-Bar, Coledampf's & Companies, the Kai Dikhas Gallery, as well as the producers of mosaics, colours, textiles, wallpapers, two and three dimensional design, and photographs. Tortured Mind
Tortured Mind is a comedy performance that puts different techniques such as circus art, dance and sound design to work to form an entertaining spectacle! It is the tale of a psychiatrist that follows the attempts to treat his patient with questionable methods through a series of creative games. The audience becomes enthralled into the head of this undeniably troubled man, which often provokes absolutely hilarious moments. The therapy starts to flip over as the psychiatrist ́s office turns into a playground for the protagonists. Who is treating whom in the end? An overlapping of reality and illusion, of theatre and contemporary circus with explosive acrobatics guarantee thrill and ecstasy. Movements of the performers are being transformed into music and sound effects live on stage – the spectator is taken on a quite intriguing acoustic and visual journey. Tortured Mind is a multi-sensory storytelling experience like no other and offers entertainment for the whole family. German language skills are not required.
